Before downloading the latest patch, you will need to have NoteCaddy installed. If you have HM2 installed, then you already have NoteCaddy and do not need to install anything else. If you are going to be using the standalone, you can download it using this link

You can manually update to the latest stable NoteCaddy version by running the updater in the HM2 install folder. Close HM2 then run C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 2\NoteCaddy.HM2Update.exe If you installed HM2 somewhere else then you will have to look there for the NC updater. This is useful if any update failed.

There is a comprehensive amount of testing required before official releases are published. However, you can immediately have the version built by the server that will have all the newest fixes and features:

  • 1. Download the file http://7243-49642.el-alt.com/NoteCaddy.latest.zip
  • 2a. If you're using the standalone NoteCaddy, make sure it is closed and extract the files to c:\program files (x86)\notecaddy
  • 2b. If you're using HM2, make sure it is closed and extract the files to c:\program files (x86)\holdem manager 2. You don't need to copy the file notecaddy.exe from the zip if you're using HM2
  • 3. Restart NC standalone or HM2
