How to show Hidden files in windows 7Clearing Settings
Make sure HM2/NoteCaddy are closed. Delete the files:
- caddysettings.xml
- caddylayout.xml
- noteDefinitionsLayout.xml
- colorDefinitionsLayout.xml
- defaultmappings.xml
- caddyReportNewHandsLayout.xml
- caddyReportNewNotesLayout.xml
This should be done if your layout got corrupted, if NoteCaddy is crashing at startup, or if you are getting errors when trying to save settings.
Clearing Note Definitions
If you want to restore note definitions to factory settings, the process varies depending on if you're using the standalone or HM-App
- In the standalone version, delete the folder "definitions" and then restart NoteCaddy and go to tools->run setup wizard and select the defaults that you want
- In the HM-App version, delete the folder NoteCaddyDefinitions under roaming (this is the same place the hem log is found, for example C:\Users\YourWindowsLogin\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager) and then just start HM2. It will download the defaults automatically and regenerate notes on all of your hands.
